Five Star Cooperative held a groundbreaking event to celebrate the start of construction on a new state-of-the-art dry fertilizer facility at its Lime Springs location. The new facility will feature a storage capacity of just over 3,000 tons and will include both inbound and outbound impregnation capability for nitrogen stabilizers and fertilizer enhancement products. With efficient receiving capabilities of 200 tons per hour and blending technology capable of producing up to 350 tons per hour of straight product.

Five Star Cooperative is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement in principle to acquire A&K Feed & Grain, a respected agricultural provider located in Lime Springs, Iowa. The acquisition, set to close this fall, marks a significant step forward in Five Star’s mission to expand its service area and enhance its offerings to the farming community across North Iowa and Southern Minnesota.
