Job Requirements:

Five Star Cooperative is seeking a motivated and passionate Feed Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the agricultural and feed industry. As a Feed Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced professionals and contribute to various aspects of feed production, quality control, customer service, and overall operational excellence. All of our Feed Interns will have the opportunity to participate in the Purina Program and tour the Minnesota Research Farm. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable insights into the cooperative's operations while allowing you to develop practical skills and knowledge.

In this position you will learn about feed and the cooperative system from the ground up.  A considerable amount of time is dedicated to educational opportunities with various industry professionals in the feed department.

 

Essential Functions:

• Purina Program Enrollment at Minnesota Research Farm
• Quality Control
• Customer/Farm Visits & Consultations
• Assist in Feed Production
• Team Collaboration
• Record Keeping
• Inventory Management
