NEW HAMPTON, Iowa (June 23, 2026) – Five Star Cooperative, in partnership with Homeland Energy Solutions, will offer E85 fuel for $1 per gallon at its New Hampton, Hanlontown and Scarville locations June 23 – 24.
The two-day promotion celebrates the role ethanol plays in supporting Iowa agriculture while providing customers with substantial savings at the pump. As the nation’s leading producer of ethanol, Iowa continues to demonstrate how renewable fuels can strengthen rural communities, create demand for locally grown corn and contribute to American energy independence.
Produced primarily from corn, ethanol helps create valuable market opportunities for Iowa grain producers while offering consumers a renewable, domestically produced fuel choice. Through this partnership, Five Star Cooperative and Homeland Energy are recognizing the farmers, producers and agricultural businesses that help power Iowa’s economy.
